Privacy Glass
This is my first car with privacy glass. Is it just me or do others find it very hard to reverse the car at night when there is little or no external lighting. I reverse my car into my drive and I find it really hard to get the position right as go through the gate. Never had this before on the A6s which were longer but had plain glass. The rear camera helps but is no use at all for the sides of the car. Maybe better on those cars with the 360 camera system but certainly a challenge without. Before anyone suggest using the park assist feature, unfortunately this just parks the car in front of my wife's car and I need to park it in a different place having got through the gate.
IMHO it's not just you. The Tigi. has 90% darker glass at the rear. My current ID.3 has the same problem with 65% darkened glass. What a great choice of fashion over function.

I did wonder if my Tiguan MK3 rear view camera was less sensitive in the dark than the one on my previous T Cross. As for privacy glass - I prefer not to have it and have managed to escape it until present Tiguan. I prefer to be able to glance in the back from the outside and check that nothing has been left on the back seat without opening the door.
