Thanks Rob for setting this Forum up, think this may be the first post other than your own ones. I will be picking up my 1.5 (150) Match in Oyster Silver with Winter Pack next week. Really looking forward to it.

Have had Audi's continuously since 1997 (1 A4 Saloon, 2 A6 Saloons and then 5 A6 Avants), so this will be first SUV, wanted to get something under the £40k threshold but still had the space of the A6. My wife has had a number of Golfs (Mk6, Mk7 and Mk8) and is currently on her second Mk8 Life so not new to VW. Looked at getting a Q3 but the offer from Audi (even at a VIP event was) laughable (the salesman agreed!), even more so as the Q3 will be replaced soon with a version based on the MQB-Evo platform.

Will update with photos and first impressions once it arrives.

Hi Everyone
I also have a Tiguan 150 Match on order in nightshade blue with the winter pack, should be with me at the end of May. First VW for me, I previously had a Tucson HEV but was a little unsure with the long term residual values due to the cost of batteries when the warranty runs out.

Hi elan2s
You must have the one of the first ones on the roads, I haven’t seen any about yet.

Hi all first time on this site bought a new mk3 tiguan R line 1.5 tsi mild hybrid launch edition had a problem with the passenger mirror not dipping when in reverse gear done exactly what it says in the manual with no look took it back to vw inchcape they looked couldn't find a fault put a ticket in to vw Germany they sent back make sure the battery is at 12 volt and reset it so they had it from. 10.30 to 17.00 with no luck so are going back to vw Germany to see if they can work out what the fault is .. this fault should be picked up at the end of the production line when the do a full diagnostic test to make sure all is ok with the various components. Has anybody had the same issue? Thanks for any help

Tried to set it on my car and seem to have the same issue. Initially (without reading manual) did like I have on all previous cars (put car in reverse, set mirror and that is it). Then having read your post, actually looked at the handbook and realised someone at VW has decided to make the process massively complicated! The only think I have not tried, but will, is to see if doing the programming with the door open makes a difference. The sales person at the dealer who I have used for over 10 years has just got a Tiguan herself so I have asked her to have a go and see if she has the same problem. It looks like it is a software fault so hopefully VW can fix it with an OTA update. If you get a solution please report back

Update: Tried programming it with door open and still looks like it is not working
