At the moment my Tiguan is showing around 43 miles when 80% charged.
The mileage shown is a prediction based on the current demand… so if you have any heaters on etc it will lower the projected range…

Mine is showing 48 miles at 80% which is pretty consistently what I have seen over the past week or so. Was routinely 10 miles more at 80% in October so i am assuming that it is the cold. [I just googled this and apparently PHEV batteries will likely charge 15-20% less in winter than summer].

Mine is showing 52 miles after 80% overnight charge, but only likely to get around 45 miles range with use.

I did have a similar issue once when I 1st had the car, when range shown was much lower than expected. Not done it since so put it down to running car in.

I suspect when you drive it in EV mode you’ll get far more.

thanks, yes i did see the range change instantly when the heater temperature was changed up and down but the 37 miles was showing in app when car was parked and locked.
The next morning, although the 37 didnt go up, i feel it used more battery in hybrid mode but it didnt completely empty the battery.
Will monitor it more and do some completely EV tests once i get the charger installed.

Ambient temp has a massive impact on EV and PHEV range. 25% reduction in cold weather is not unheard, worse off the car does not have a heat pump installed. Official range figures are calculated based on a nice warm day, not a cold frosty morning.

Looking at this from the perspective of electricity used to charge the car, I presume that getting to 80% in winter takes less input than 80% in summer because the 'total potential' capacity is reduced?

I’ve been using my car in E-Mode all week, I’ve been able to charge at work daily and I definitely prefer the car in E Mode over Hybrid so far. Plus I feel like I’m using just as much battery in hybrid.
Getting a survey for a home charger tomorrow, if I can charge it every night that will be great.
Range is still showing about 43 miles for 80%. I don’t drain the battery but I’d say I’m aiming at around 36 miles of range.
