New Tig Lead Time to UK?

Just wondering what the lead times are like from build week to delivery to dealer (UK)?

Hi, yeah I’ve ordered and I’ve got a build week (37).

I’ve just downloaded the VW but can’t see any function to track my order?

Don't think VW offer the ability to track orders any more (haven't for quite a few years). Build week 37 would be early September so based on normal delivery schedules you should be seeing your car sometime early to mid-october

How long does it take from placing an order to getting a build week these days?

No idea, it will depend on whether the dealer has already got allocated build slots and then which of these they can assign to your order

My build slot was confirmed in 30/7 ... ... ... awaiting build week confirmation.

I ordered my Tiguan on 9th July with the order being accepted on 17th July. VW Customer Services told me on the 6th August that the order is showing Week 33 as a build week but not confirmed. It’s now week 33 but the build week is still not confirmed. VW Customer Service said that it will only change to confirmed when they start the build. But according to other forums build weeks usually be confirmed 4 weeks before the build takes place. If it’s still not confirmed by the end of the week I wonder will the car still be built this week?

Anyone have any knowledge as this is new to me 🙈
