That makes sense.
I knew it wasn’t in the spec so I was just surprised how many hybrids had them.

I ordered one too. How you planning on charging? I'm just looking to install a normal socket externally.

Don't know if it's just as simple as plugging it in or if you need the app, etc.

Cheers, Tam

Nice!
Not sure about the app. That should work as it comes with a Mode 2 cable I believe. I do have external sockets at home but I’ve heard that it’s not the best way to charge them for a number of reasons and it should be used in rare occasions.

I’m planning to use chargers at my workplace as the cost per kW is quite good. Not sure if it is worth the money to have a home installed right now.

Just out of interest...how much are your work chargers per kW?
I think the ones at my work are 55p per kW which seems high.

Can’t remember the exact price but I’m sure it’s less than 20p per kW. I’ll have to check but I remember it being cheaper than the rate I’d get at home without a new tariff + charger.

Thanks, mines a lease car so will stick with external socket, although aware it should be EV approved as you are putting 10amps down if for extended periods - still only £40 socket.

Mine now shown as on order, but awaiting build slot. Mid April maybe.

Does anyone know what tires are fitted, I was hoping for all-season for Scotland, wife goes skiing in winter here.

You won't get All Season as standard fit. Mine came with Nexans, which I was concerned about, but have actually found them to be fine. Be aware that the factory fit tyres have a self sealing component in them should you pick up a (small) puncture which you may not get if you switch to All Season tyres
