Wow okay. Still loads better than the low 30’s I currently get but I’d have expected better. My daily commute is about 15 mile round trip so I think I’ll be using electric more than not.

I have booked Tiguan PHEV and will be available in January 2025, now I’m bit worried because of the software issue it has

The PHRV gave me 56mpg on a 230 mile motorway run with a full charge in hybrid mode the whole way.
Did a similar run with a flat battery and it gave 40mpg again in hybrid mode.
I can report no software issues or bugs on mine.
Its been really a pleasure to be honest.

Thanks Ozzyman.

Good to hear something positive.
Have you had much of a drive in electric only mode? How does it compare to hybrid mode?

My Aug built PHEV is also good to drive. I use it as an EV locally & it will comfortably give a 60 mile range when fully charged. When travelling longer distances I use in hybrid mode & car is pretty seamless to driver between the two. Petrol engine will kick in if you need more grunt though.

Coming from a diesel it’s a much smoother & quieter drive in either.

Tigone wrote: Sun Oct 20, 2024 7:04 am If you can believe anything you see in this car average consumption is around 45 mpg. I can just get it to 50 on a dual carriageway sitting at 60 mph but it is more likely to show 40 under normal driving.
That to me seems low for a PHEV.
I have an eTSI 150 mild hybrid and several weeks ago I travelled 170 miles from Cardiff to Gatwick Airport. Cruise control most of the way, set at 70-! and the car averaged 50mpg. On the return trip, 2 weeks later, it averaged49mpg. Overall average mpg, since new, over four months/3000 miles is showing 45.3 mpg!

Anyone who has a Match eHybrid… did it come with heated front seats?
Don’t expect it to, but seen loads online which have them.

Is part of the winter pack option but all the early Matches at my dealer had that option
