Thanks for the update. That sounds very positive. It would be great if they could achieve the rectification with an OTA software update, but that is probably being a little optimistic.

Hi all, great to have found a forum for the new Mk3. Ordered a leased 1.5 R-Line on Friday in Urano grey.

Wanted a dark grey so the fact that Urano was the standard no cost option suited me well. Haven’t opted for any other extras as I need a quick delivery but the car seems very well appointed as standard.

VWFS have indicated a delivery time of 2-3 weeks so hopefully will be with me soon. I’ll enjoy lurking here for the time being until my car arrives and im sure I’ll then have a lot of questions!

Hi All,
Well done to Rob for setting up the forum, very helpful and interesting to know that others are having a few teething problems. I also have a few issues with my Elegance 2.0 diesel. I live in France and the dealer is trying to help but not getting very far …. had the car since April 30 and still no answers from VW. Issues with lumbar support not working correctly (stuck in a very uncomfortable driving position), both front seats massage function not working at all. Wing mirrors not dipping when in reverse. All problems which I’m sure can be resolved but when you’ve shelled out 54 k euros, it does make you more than a little ticked off. I do like the look of the car but when it’s side by side with my Mk2 R-line, I think I prefer the sleeker lines of the earlier model. Will post if I have any news from my French dealer.

As you will see from other posts on here, the non-dipping door mirror looks to be a universal problem. Ithought initially it may be due to it notbeing sorted for right habd drive cars, but your post shows it to be a wider issue. VW (in the UK at least) are aware of it, now we just need the fix! Issues with massage have also been mentioned here, but yours is the first with a lumber issue. Hopefully you will get the car sorted soon

Greetings all,
Just taken delivery of an Rline 150 Launch edition in white. Having recently progressed from XC60 to CX60 and GLA, there is no doubt that the VW has them all beat. It’s a superb vehicle.

My R-Line in Urano Grey was delivered on Wednesday and absolutely love the car but behold I have the same issue with the non-dipping door mirror. Hopefully we will see a fix soon as it makes a huge difference when parallel parking on narrow roads and need to get as close to the kerb as possibly without scratching the alloys!

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has a time line on how long it took for their new Tiguan to be delivered. My R-line has been build and is currently at the Port of Exit and currently awaiting ship allocation. I was wonder how long everyone else took from this stage?

Many thanks
