Hey all, has anyone managed to get this working on their Tig. My new R-Line has the same issue and was wondering if VW has pushed through a fix yet as not sorted with the latest software update on my end

That's promising. Hopefully they will roll that out to dealers so early cars can be fixed soon

What exactly did you test, just making sure we are all on the same page?

Sorry, I see I was a bit vague.
From what I’ve understood, people have not been able to get the mirror to dip when reversing. I have successfully had the mirror dip when selecting reverse.

OK, did you set this up yourself?, also what model/spec do you have and when did you collect, also what country are you from?

Hadn't realised you were in Sweden. Have forums in Europe been reporting mirror dip issues with LHD cars? I have always suspected the issue with cars in the UK has been down to VW not checking the software worked on RHD cars, where of course it is the different mirror that needs to dip. Be interesting to see if anyone getting delivery of a RHD car now has got the mirror dip to work

So, for me for rear view mirror to work the mirror knob on driver door has to be in position R (Right mirror is lowered in reverse). I think maybe for UK market the knob has to be in L position.

Yes it has to be set to passenger mirror as per the manual, but as has been proved it doesn't work.
